This year there is no reason to wait for Treefort to see some of the bands that will be there. This Friday from 11:00 to 1:00 in the Student Union Building, Boise State is hosting a TreeFort Preview. Hollow Wood and Calico will both be in the building performing for students. The best part is, it’s totally free to go and enjoy the music.

Calico will be performing first, from 11:00 to 11:45, and Hollow Wood will be on stage by noon. Both bands are from Boise.

Since its start three years ago, TreeFort has grown to become a cornerstone of Boise’s spring activities. According to the official website this year TreeFort will host over 350 artists over the four days. The bands are coming from as far away as the UK, right down to local bands from right here in Boise. It’s almost guaranteed there will be something there that everyone will enjoy. This year the festival is taking place from March 20th through the 23rd, or the weekend before spring break.
