Applied Technology building torn down

Workers began tearing down the Applied Technology building today, Thursday, Feb 14. The building previously housed many technical program provided by the College of Western Idaho.  This demolition is the next step in a long line of renovations allotted in the master plan including the renovations in the Student Union Building, the mathematics building and the administration parking lot. According to the Boise State Campus Master Plan, the space will be used to create another intramural field for the use by the football team. When it is completed, the original intramural field behind the SUB will be open for student use all year.
