The Arbiter Minute for December 5, 2013

This is your Arbiter Minute for December 5th, 2013.

As part of the commitment to create Compassionate Communities, Jacksons Food Stores and the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence (Idaho Coalition) will launch the 10th year of its “Give the Gift of Peace” campaign, a holiday season campaign that starts on Thanksgiving Day and goes through December 25th. The campaign will raise funds for the prevention, education and support for victims of domestic violence and their children, sexual assault survivors, and adolescents experiencing relationship abuse.

So the Broncos have done it again. Playing the Utah Utes, they continue their winning streak. Now Bronco men’s basketball is 7-0 on the season. Derrick Marks put up 17 points and Anthony Drmic contributed 14. Boise State lead a close 69 to 67 win over the Utes on Tuesday night.

During Dead Week students need a few extra hours to study, so the Albertsons Library has extended its hours to midnight from Sunday December 8th to Saturday December 14. Don’t forget to hit the books, Broncos!
