Homecoming is a busy week for everyone and for people with parking permits on campus it’s a great time to get a ticket. There are advisories out for every parking permit issued by the Boise State Transportation and Parking office, as well as general street closures to look forward to this weekend. Here are some of the ones more likely to impact students:
General Permit: Lots near the stadium (full list available on the Transportation and Parking website) are closed at midnight on Friday. All vehicles left behind will be towed and cited at owner’s expense. Alternative parking options are also available on the Transportation and Parking website. Some of them include: Brady Garage, Michigan Street, and the Landscape Services lot.
Lincoln/Brady Garage Permit: Permit holders are allowed to remain in the garages pending availability, but are requested to park at the upper levels of the garages so hourly spots are available for game-goers.
Euclid and Grant Avenues are closed between Belmont Street and University drive, starting Friday at midnight and continuing until the end of Saturday’s game. Only residents and ET permit holders will be allowed to access their lots by these routes.
Between Earle and Denver Street, University Drive will be closed on Saturday between 2:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. for the parade. It will reopen once the parade has passed and the street is cleared. A map of the route is available on the Transportation and Parking website as well.
