The 2013 Parent and Family Weekend will take place Sept. 27-29. This occasion is to be operated by the New Student and Family Programs (NSFP) with the assistance of the Bronco Parent and Family Organization.
Throughout the course of the weekend, several events will take place around both the city and the university, some of which include a night at Zoo Boise and an afternoon of Zumba at the Bronco Stadium field.
Sandwiched between all three days are a large variety of other events from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. In addition to the affairs above, parents also have the option of going to class with their new Broncos on Friday.
In accordance with the mission posted on their website, the NSFP intends “to both facilitate the successful transition of new students to Boise State University, and to improve the success and quality of the first-year experience for students.”
It is apparent their plans for the weekend are aimed to accomplish their mission for this semester’s new incoming students.
Interested students and families are able to purchase tickets for said events, look at the weekend’s schedule, buy merchandise or sign-up as a volunteer at nsfp.boisestate.edu.
