BOISE, Idaho - ESPN announced today Boise State’s home football game against Southern Miss on Sept. 28 (Saturday) will kick off at 8:15 p.m. (MT) and be broadcast on ESPNU.
This is the fourth of seven Boise State regular season games ESPN’s family of networks will broadcast this season, and the first time a Bronco game has been broadcast on ESPNU since Boise State hosted Hawai’i on Nov. 6, 2010.
So far this year, Boise State games broadcast by the ESPN group include UT-Martin (Sept. 7 – ESPN3) and Air Force (Sept. 13 – ESPN). This Friday’s (Sept. 20) game at Fresno State will be broadcast on ESPN, along with Boise State’s game at BYU on Oct. 24 (Friday).
The Bronco’s final two home games on Nov. 16 (Saturday) against Wyoming and Nov. 30 (Saturday) against New Mexico will also be carried by an ESPN channel. ESPN will make an announcement on the kickoff times and channel at a later date.
Since moving to the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision in 1996, Boise State has an all-time record of 68-12 in games nationally televised.
