BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State women’s soccer team begins their six-game road stretch this week, beginning with North Dakota State and North Dakota. The Broncos will take on the North Dakota State Bison this Friday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. MT. Boise State enters the contests with a 2-2-2 record, earning draws over Washington State and Weber State last week.
The Bison are 3-3 this season and have won their last two matchups. Junior forward Anisha Kinnarath and freshman Lauren Miller have each scored four goals this season for NDSU, and Miller is the current Summit League Offensive Player of the Week. Boise State and NDSU’s all-time record is 1-0-1. The Broncos beat the Bison 4-1 at Boas last year, where Shannon Schueren, Katy Oehring, Anna Popma and 2013 student-coach Lauren Hickok all netted goals.
Boise State will then travel to Grand Forks, N.D. to face North Dakota on Sept. 15 at 12 p.m. North Dakota is 0-6 this season, and freshman midfielder Zoe Foster scored North Dakota’s first goal of the season against Akron. Sunday’s game will be the first matchup between the two schools.
The Broncos’ next home game will be Oct. 4 at 4 p.m. against Wyoming.
