On Wednesday, Sept. 4, Sandra Day O’Conner accepted the Andrus Center for Public Policy’s second annual Andrus Leadership Award.
This event, which took place
the Jordan Ballroom of Boise State’s Student Union Building, kicked off the three-day “Transforming America: Women and Leadership in the 21st Century” conference.
Director of The Andrus Center
at Boise State, David Adler, along with Boise State President Kustra and former Idaho Governor Cecil Andrus introduced and presented Justice O’Connor with the award.
“I look forward to talking to you more about
how organizations in your state and how Icivics can work more closely with all of you,” Justice O’Connor said. “Icivics is an organization that I initiated to provide free online games and tools for students and teachers to learn more about civics.”
