Unless you live in a hole, there is no way not to hear about the fantastic music madness that is the weekend of Treefort Music Festival. This year’s festival has over 260 artists lined up for the weekend of the event. That being said, not all of us can make it to Treefort with ticket prices going from $30 for a main stage ticket all the way to $199 for a 4-day VIP ticket. So, Boise State University Student Union Fine Arts set up our very own Treefort Kick-Off Concert.
This kick-off will take place on Thursday at the Centennial Amphitheater (behind the library). The show starts at noon and ends at four with Nick Jaina from 12-1 p.m., B. Dolan 1:30-2:30 p.m. and FOXYGEN from 3-4 p.m. Not only is the event free but there will be a raffle for 4-Day passes with wristbands and 3 pairs of Main Stage tickets. Treefort representatives will be out at the Quad and Atrium on Tuesday Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. so you can sign up for the raffle, or you can sign up for the raffle at the show. Raffle winners will be announced at the kick-off show.
If our very own Treefort concert on campus wasn’t enough, and the possibility of winning free tickets still didn’t do it for you, to top it off if you are under 21 and want to go to a show that is 21+ you can get in with the tickets being raffled.
