This message is from Boise State University Transportation & Parking Services regarding parking on Saturday Oct. 20th for the Homecoming Football game.
Grant Avenue Closed, Euclid Avenue Closed
Grant Avenue between Belmont Street and University Drive will be closed starting 12:01 am on Saturday through the end of the game for security operations and construction.
Euclid Avenue will be closed for the City of Boise Geothermal project, which includes the closure of the ET Reserved accessible lot through October 22nd.
University Dr. closed for homecoming parade
University Drive will be closed between Earle Street and Denver Street on Saturday, October 20 between 9:15 am-10: 45 am for the homecoming parade. University Drive will re-open once the parade has passed and it is safe to do so. The map of the parade route is available at:
Boise State Permit Holder Parking Availability
Brady Street Garage, T reserve lot
ALL valid BSU Parking Permit Holders will be able to park in the Brady Street Garage, pending availability. An accessible-equipped BOISE STATE shuttle will provide transportation to and from the game beginning at 11:30 am until kickoff and gain until one hour after the game. The T-Reserve lot will be restricted to Homecoming Parade setup and Morrison Center events. All BSU permit holders will be directed to park in the Brady Street Garage.
Parking will be available free to valid Boise State parking permit holders based on availability.
Michigan Street/Belmont Street
Portions of Michigan Street and Belmont Street will be available only to Boise State permit holders as these are privately owned Boise State streets.
Hourly paid parking will be available in the Brady Street Garage until 11:30 am and the Administration Visitors Lot until 9:00 am. Public Affairs & Arts West will have hourly meter parking for the day.
Liberal Arts/Library Lots
There will be limited availability in the Liberal Arts and Library lots for permit holders.
Restricted Parking Areas
West Stadium/East Stadium/Bronco Circle/Cesar Chavez Lane will be closed to all vehicles starting at 12:01 am on Saturday, October 13. All vehicles must vacate the lot by 12:01 am game day or they will be cited and towed to the Lincoln Hall lot at the owner’s expense.
Stadium Lots: Loading Zones
A drop off area for patrons and equipment is provided on the north side of University Drive near the intersection of Grant Street and University Drive. Additional drop off areas are located by Bronco Gym on Bronco Circle, as well as meters located in front of the Bronco Shop/Ticket Box office, but are limited to one hour prior to the game with a stay limit of fifteen minutes. Vehicles must display a loading zone permit available at the entry to the Stadium Lots through Event Parking Personnel.
Lots South of University Drive
The Denver, Denver and Beacon, NORCO, and Manitou Lots, are reserved for Bronco Athletic Association parking and game day management. These south lots will be closed to the public and all permit holders starting at 12:01 am on Saturday. All vehicles must vacate the lot by 12:01 am game day or they will be cited and towed to the Lincoln Hall lot at the owner’s expense. These lots will open to game day permit holders at 8 am.
Lincoln Street Garage, 1607 University Drive
LG Permit holders are allowed to park in the garage pending availability on the 4th and 5th floors. The bottom floor is reserved for accessible parking ONLY and pre-purchased BAA permit holders. The following permits are valid in the garage: Boise State LG, BAA Reserved Lincoln Garage, LG Football, and Boise State University Accessible Permit. A shuttle will be provided starting at 9:30 am until 1 hour after the game.
Residential Parking Lots
Parking is not allowed in the Residential Areas on campus without a proper residential permit.
Bicycle Parking, donations appreciated
Secure, valet bicycle parking is provided from 10:00 am to one hour after the game near Christ Chapel on Cesar Chavez Lane next to the greenbelt. Retain your parking ticket to retrieve your bike. Bikes that are left will be available at the Transportation & Parking Services office on Monday morning.
Relocated Vehicles on campus
Vehicles that have been relocated for any reason, i.e., as not displaying proper permit, vehicles parked in incorrect locations or abandoned vehicles are relocated to the Lincoln Hall lot, located off of Lincoln Avenue between University Drive and Belmont Street in the dirt lot.
