Isaac leads to 5-cent gas price spike

Nationwide gas prices shot up on Wednesday roughly 5 cents a gallon and some states saw a spike as high as 14 cents. At this time experts don’t expect the hike to be long lasting as Isaac isn’t expected to cause any lasting damage to refineries. Hurricane Isaac hit land late Tuesday night near Port Fourchon, La., which is located about 60 miles southeast of New Orleans.
