“Campus Resources, we got your campus resources…” is the chorus to Boise State’s newest music video. ‘Campus, Fo Life’ was written, recorded, filmed and produced by four BSU students this summer and has ‘premiered’ eight times in the SPEC.
“It was played after the Orientation skits, where the OL’s present real life issues facing first year students,” said Sheri Muncy-Freeman, Program Coordinator for New Student & Family Programs. “The response was amazing! Parents and students were reminded of things they’ve seen on SNL like ‘I’m on a Boat.”
The video features cameos from BSU staff such as Blaine Eckles (Student Rights and Responsibilities,) Michael Laliberte (VP of Student Affairs,) and Lieutenant Doug Schoeborn (Campus Security.)
“It was a creative way to communicate important resources. It connected well with students,” said Blaine Eckles.
“The rap music scene is about to get a triple serving of positivity,” said Spencer Jahn, featured artist in the video.
