What is the Disability Resource Center?
The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is designed to meet the educational needs of enrolled students with documented disabilities.
The philosophy and mission of this office is to encourage independence, assist students in realizing their academic potential, and to facilitate the elimination of physical, programmatic, and attitudinal barriers.
Who is Eligible for Accommodations?
To qualify for services the student must provide the DRC with current and comprehensive documentation of a temporary or permanent disability that requires accommodation. Accommodations are determined on a case by case basis in compliance with Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
How do I get Accommodations?
Call the DRC to make an appointment with a Disability Specialist to discuss the documentation process, services provided by DRC, and your educational expectations. You and the specialist together will determine which services are appropriate for you.
