Talkin’ Broncos win medal

The Boise State speech and debate program was recently named a Division I gold medal program by the Northwest Forensics Conference. The award was determined by points compiled during three designated NFC tournaments.

The Northwest Forensics Conference is comprised of 42 colleges and universities.

‘Run’ chosen as First Year Read

Boise State University selected “Run,” a novel by Ann Patchett, as the 2009-10 First Year Read program book.

The novel is set during a period of 24 hours. The story takes place at the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard and a home for retired Catholic priests in downtown Boston.

BSU to hold budget meeting

President Bob Kustra is holding an address to give updates and answer questions concerning the state of the budget at Boise State. All are invited to attend.
