    A nearly sold-out crowd at Taco Bell Arena witnessed an incredibly surprising loss when the Boise State men's basketball team was defeated 56-54 by the University of Idaho (12-13, 6-6 WAC) Wednesday night.

    The Broncos (17-8, 7-5 WAC) also suffered a unexpected 63-59 loss when the two rivals last played in Moscow Jan.

    It was a clean sweep of the Oregon schools Feb. 15 for the Boise State University wrestling team as the No. 10 Broncos handed Oregon State University a 25-9 loss in the afternoon, before driving north to shut out Portland State University, 42-0, in the evening.

    Lauren Megale captures second straight WAC honors Boise State's Lauren Megale was named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for Feb. 9-15. This is the second time in as many weeks the freshman has earned the WAC weekly honor. Megale, a freshman from Boise, swept through the competition last weekend in the No.

    Perched on a plastic maroon chair, Megan Olivetti shouted out some encouraging words as her sister Paige rounded the corner of the indoor track. Just moments before, Paige Olivetti, was doing the same thing, cheering on her sister. That act of comrade isn't a big deal for these two sisters and identical twins, it's just something they've always done.

    Idaho Human Rights Act Amendment Disappointment Idaho Human Rights Act Amendment Disappointment "A right delayed is a right denied." Those words by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ring true today as they did when spoken over forty years ago. On a 5-4 vote, the Idaho Human Rights Commission has denied equal rights to Idaho's LGBT community by failing to deliver non-discrimination protections in employment, housing, education and public accommodation based upon a persons actual or perceived sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.
