The freshman from Sugar Land, Texas was just one of many on the defensive end that contributed in the Broncos’ 49-14 win over Utah State Saturday. Against the Aggies, he had two key interceptions that helped move BSU to 9-0 on the season.

The 2008 graduate from Capital High School in Boise made the most of her first college postseason action. Last Thursday she scored a goal against San Jose in the Broncos’ 2-1 victory to advance them to the WAC semis. BSU lost in the semis to Utah State, but Hickcox was named to the All-WAC second team.

Saturday night the sophomore from American Fork, Utah was a force to reckon with at the net. On the night she tallied 16 kills and an impressive .452 hitting percentage in the Broncos’ 3-0 win over Louisiana Tech.
