Downtown Boise was turned into a "festival village" last weekend as hundreds of film enthusiasts, directors, actors, producers, gaffers, grips, fans, freaks and more turned out to be part of the sixth annual Idaho International Film Festival. The festival ran September 26 - 28, and lacked nothing in the way of variety: everything from short documentaries to Japanese sci-fi gore graced the silver screens of Boise's favorite theaters. While the festival as a whole was worth the time of any student of film, art, or . anything, really, not every film stood up to the test.
