August Burns Red, A Skylit Drive, Sky Eats Airplane, Greeley Estates, This or The Apocalypse, 6:30 p.m., The Venue – The hardcore metal group, August Burns Red, headlines the tour.

God sees Dog: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, 7 p.m., $10, Neurolux – A play based on the characters of the “Peanuts” comic strip envisions the kids as teens.

Saturday, Sept. 27

Classic Performance Series: Scott Turpen, Saxophonist, Gen: $12, Boise State Staff: $8, Students/Seniors: $5 – The Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Wyoming, Turpen should be a wonder to see.

Boise Chamber Music Series: Aulos Ensemble, 10:30 a.m., Free, Morrison Center Recital Hall – The gifted group graces the stage again for a complimentary morning performance.
