The Western Athletic conference will extend its current contract with the sports juggernaut ESPN from two years to nine. The contract will now extend WAC coverage until 2017. "We are pleased to continue our partnership with ESPN as this new agreement provides more visibility and exposure for our programs," Boise State President Bob Kustra said. "The WAC and ESPN will both benefit under this new contract." The new contract will extend the men’s basketball coverage from 10 to 16 games. The contract will also include women’s basketball, volleyball and softball coverage on ESPN, ESPN2 OR ESPN U.
