Fans are eager to get their tickets to Bronco football once again.

Tickets went on sale today and 10:00am. The highest demand was for the season finale against Fresno State Bulldogs to take place on November 28.

“Everything is pretty popular right now,” Anita Guerricabeitia said. Guerricabeitia is the assistant athletic director for ticket sales at BSU.

Some fans were in line as early as 7:00am to purchase the tiny piece of paper that surpasses its weight in gold, ticket office staff said.

“They’re just excited,” Guerricabeitia said. “They are ready for the season to begin.”

A majority of the Stueckle Sky Club has been sold. There are a few seats still remaining.

“Eighty to ninety percent of the club seats have been filled,” Guerricabeitia said. “There is only one loge left.”

Some of the finest displays of great fans are expressed by the youth. Joey and Timmer Verhaegh, along with their friend, Kyle Kirshner, stood in line to get tickets to see specific instances with hopes of BSU victory.

“I want us to beat Hawaii,” Timmer said.

They’re memories from last season’s lost conference title is ringing loud and clear. Not only do they want to see the Broncos defeat and up-and-coming rival, but they just want to continue succeeding in familiar fashion.

“I just want to have a winning season,” Kyler said.

Some fan favorites have stood apart for the boys as well.

“[Bush Hamdan] has been here five years,” Joey said. “He deserves a shot.”

The young at heart made the venture during the late morning sales. Don Hunt is a transplant from Oregon and an Oregon Ducks fan.

“I just want to see a competitive game,” Hunt said. “It isn’t as fun to go to a game when they win 49-3.”

Hunt grew up watching Ahmad Rashad play for the University of Oregon Ducks. He will not be making the trip to Eugene this season to watch the Broncos take on his beloved team. He stated it simply.

“The are all sold out.”

The University of Oregon’s athletic sight no longer has any available, Hunt said.

Fans better hurry fast if they wish to purchase. The utilization of online sales has shortened the lines for tickets and quickened the process.

For those interested in what is left, go to broncosports.com and click on tickets to find multiple avenues of purchase and seating maps. Fans can also call (208) 426-4737 to speak with ticket office staff concerning availability.
