Based on our standards and cultural norms, what part of our view of reality suggests what actions should be deemed harmful and therefore not appropriate? Centuries of development have molded our society; but, in terms of censorship, have we evolved?

    It's been brought to my attention there is a fear to a term used in association with bra-burners, man-haters and fire-breathers (my personal favorite). It can be especially heinous to the old fashioned lot who've forgotten the roots and concepts behind this hot little word: feminism.

    If you've happened to read a newspaper, political blog or tuned into radio or television, you are undoubtedly aware that California recently granted homosexuals the long-awaited and overdue liberty of marriage. While the uproar and protest by organizations such as the American Family Association and Family Research Council pretending to protect "family values" was relatively quiet compared to past incidents, it seems they have decided to focus on passing a constitutional ban against LGBT marriages on the November ballot.

    The pursuit for the eeliest quarterback position at Boise State for the 2008-09 season had two leaders emerge last spring: Senior Bush Hamdan and freshman Kellen Moore.

    Now flash forward to August and the start of Fall Camp, and the two are still the front runners and are battling it out in a tight knit race.

  • Broncos less than stellar in first scrimmage

    The Boise State Broncos first scrimmage this season on the blue was missing something. Whether it was the lack of intensity, the numerous dropped passes or the average performances by the quarterbacks, the first scrimmage was definitely that; the first one of the season.
