Following the Broncos dramatic 69-67, 4 OT, win over Nevada Sunday night, Boise State Head Coach Chris Petersen announced wide receiver Vinny Perretta will miss the rest of the 2007 season due to a shoulder injury.

Perretta has seen limited action so far this season and did not suit up for the Nevada game. He is scheduled to have surgery on his shoulder, which will put him out of commission until next season.
Perretta appeared in four games this season and was fourth on the team in receptions entering Sunday’s game. He caught nine passes for 120 yards. He also rushed five times for 31 yards and one touchdown.
