Ada County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help locating a man believed to have fired a gun at a Meridian Police officer during a traffic stop Wednesday night. 

Police are looking for a 1997 Red and silver Dodge R2500 pick-up truck with an Idaho license plate that reads "HAMMUR". According to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was stolen from a Boise home last night and is believed to be in the possession of 37 year old Kirkley Evans, of Boise. Evans is a white male, 6′1", 185 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

According to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, Evans is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him or the pick-up truck is asked to call 911 immediately.
