Not since BYU quarterback Ty Detmer won the Heisman Trophy in 1990 has a Western Athletic Conference signal caller been in the hunt for college football's most coveted individual prize - until today. Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan has been named the WAC's preseason Player of the Year for the second consecutive preseason and will be in hot pursuit of the Heisman Trophy, along with Boise State's Ian Johnson.

Though Boise is not home to any professional sports teams, the city does provide sports enthusiasts with an array of sporting events to satisfy ones hunger and keep there adrenaline going throughout the year.
One of those events is The Wells Fargo Twilight Criterium bicycle race that was held in downtown Boise, Saturday, July 21.
