The press coverage of the release of “Sky Blue Sky” marked a critical point for Wilco, as the new record will be promoted in all Starbucks coffee shops, promising nationwide recognition and attention from new listeners.

    BOISE - The first thing I learned when I became a journalist is that I am invisible. The writer of any story is supposed to be non-existent. Yet, I find myself setting a bad example for my young and resourceful staff, because Saturday I existed. Imagine my surprise when I logged onto my account the other day and found the following e-mail waiting for me, grammatical errors and all.

    Since I was little I’ve always loved basketball. I spent my teen years growing up watching Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls win six NBA championships. Those days are long past now and it’s clear that the National Basketball Association is in need of a serious revival.
