January 15- Jessica Thompson earns WAC Player of the Week honors for her efforts against New Mexico State and La Tech, where she scored 20 and 14 points respectively.

January 29- Thompson wins WAC Player of the Week honors for the second time in January, after she continued to carry Boise State scoring in double figures twice the week before and averaged more than seven rebounds per game as well during that time frame.

February 2- BSU beats New Mexico State at home to improve to 9-0 in conference play, also extending a 10-game winning streak.

March 1- BSU finally beats Fresno State at home, after a handful of games against the Bulldogs slipped out of Boise State’s hands in the past few seasons. The Broncos won 69-63. Tasha Harris scored 18 points and Nadia Begay added 12 to help Boise State to a huge win.

March 3- BSU defeats Hawaii 66-56 at home to clinch a share of the regular season WAC championship, also earning the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.

March 7- Boise State beats San Jose State 81-64 in the opening round of the WAC tournament.

March 9- BSU defeats Fresno State for the second time in just over a week to advance to the championship game of the conference tournament.

March 17- Boise State’s magical season comes to an end with a 76-67 loss in the first round of the NCAA tournament against No. 5 seeded George Washington. Nadia Begay leads all Broncos with 26 points and ties an NCAA tournament record for most three pointers made in a single game with eight.

Post season notes: Head Coach Gordy Presnell was named the WAC Coach of the Year and also the Regional Coach of the Year by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.

Boise State had two players nominated for All-Conference honors. Jessica Thompson earned a first team All-WAC bid and Hessing was voted to the second team All-WAC.

Boise State finished the season with a 24-9 record overall and a 12-4 in the WAC.
