Single Parents’ Club treasurer.
Mariah Fowler said if elected to be Senator from Engineering, she will focus on what students from engineering want and need, but will also represent all Boise State students.
Fowler said it is an honor to be representing such a great university, and that senators should act accordingly and look out for students. According to Fowler, tuition and fees are increasing every year, and ASBSU should be a fiscal accountant for student fees, looking at where the money is going.
“I believe there are a lot of changes that need to be done.”
Fowler said she tries to look at the big picture of everything and tries to find the solutions for different problems. “I’m a hard-working, dedicated person,” Fowler said. “I’m responsible.” Fowler is affiliated with the Student Success Program, the Returning Women’s Group, and is Treasurer of the Single Parents Club. She is also a mentor in the Women’s Center Mentor Program and PTA President for one of her kid’s school.
