Enter the world of a self-proclaimed serious flasher (Web, not a creepy man who walks up to a young girl in a raincoat type of flash) with Paul Neave’s www.neave.com.

Neave.com is gaining popularity among the 20-something crowd for its usual, yet fun features – some of which brings its users back to their youth.

Although neave.com offers a variety of interesting photos, zoomable maps, a basic homemade version of a planetarium and trippy strobe lines that get a lot more fun to watch when you’re in an … altered state of mind, if you will.

Although all of these features appeal to some, nothing on the site has the mass-market appeal that the games section does.
Here you can feel like you did the first time your weird older cousin broke out his Atari with classic 1980s retro games. You can blast aliens and spaceships away in “Space Invaders,” save Earth by shooting down some big rocks in “Asteroids” and test your hops while you avoid getting smashed like a bug in my personal favorite 1980s game – “Frogger.”

Avoid the trap of becoming obsessed with the games’ high scores – a lux George Costanza in “Seinfeld” because the high scores are erased weekly. Also note that these games are unofficial replicas and not endorsed by the trademark and copyright owners.

While there is little educational value to neave.com, it’s a great place to get lost on the ‘net and give a few hours of your life  away.awayou’re really bored.
