BOISE, Idaho ? Boise State finally got the flow they?ve been looking for all year. Leading by just one point with 11:51 to play, Boise State went on a 12-0 run that they stretched to a 24-5 run to take a commanding lead en route to an 83-67 win over Elon in Taco Bell Arena on Tuesday night.

Run is the key word. The Broncos got out in transition and scored four straight 3-pointers to push the lead from 57-56 to 69-56 in the span of 3:56. Senior Jermaine Blackburn started the run with a 3-pointer, followed by a pair of threes by sophomore Eric Land and a three by senior Franco Harris.

Lane sparked the Broncos coming off the bench to score a career-high 21 points. He made 7-of-9 shots from 3-point range and added three assists in 21 minutes. He fell two 3-pointers shy of the school record set by Abe Jackson.

Lane led five Broncos who scored in double figures. Blackburn added 18 points (7-of-12 shooting) and three rebounds. Harris had 13 points, four rebounds and three assists, while both Robinson and sophomore Coby Karl had 12 points. Ellis was limited to just one minute of action after starting because of back spasms. Ten Broncos played (nine at least 10 minutes) and eight scored. Freshman Andrew Green saw his first significant playing time this season and responded with 12 solid minutes. He finished with two points and a steal.
