


BOISE, Idaho ? Boise State finally got the flow they?ve been looking for all year. Leading by just one point with 11:51 to play, Boise State went on a 12-0 run that they stretched to a 24-5 run to take a commanding lead en route to an 83-67 win over Elon in Taco Bell Arena on Tuesday night.
Run is the key word. The Broncos got out in transition and scored four straight 3-pointers to push the lead from 57-56 to 69-56 in the span of 3:56. Senior Jermaine Blackburn started the run with a 3-pointer, followed by a pair of threes by sophomore Eric Land and a three by senior Franco Harris.
Lane sparked the Broncos coming off the bench to score a career-high 21 points. He made 7-of-9 shots from 3-point range and added three assists in 21 minutes. He fell two 3-pointers shy of the school record set by Abe Jackson.
Lane led five Broncos who scored in double figures. Blackburn added 18 points (7-of-12 shooting) and three rebounds. Harris had 13 points, four rebounds and three assists, while both Robinson and sophomore Coby Karl had 12 points. Robinson added a game-high nine rebounds playing in place of Jason Ellis most of the night.
Boise State shot a blistering 58.5 percent for the game, including 61.3 percent in the second half. The Broncos made 16-of-30 shots from 3-point range, including 10-of-18 in the second half.
