WHAT? Service Learning: A way of teaching and learning in

address community needs and make a difference.

universities nationwide.

WHO? You – more than 800 Boise State students – and over

2 million college students across the United States each year.

We’re located in the Gateway Center, on the corner of

University and Chrisway.

WHEN? At Boise State University since 1998,

Service-Learning courses are offered in fall, spring and now

summer.

WHY? Stand out in class (close contact with faculty);

Stand out in the community (make a difference); Stand out in the

“Real World” (Service-Learning is a great addition to

your résumé).
