Boise, Idaho – Boise State men’s basketball head coach Greg Graham has announced the hiring of the first of three assistant basketball coaches who will join his staff. Andy McClouskey becomes Graham’s first hire as head men’s basketball coach at Boise State.

McClouskey comes to Boise State after spending the last three seasons at the University of Nevada. While at Nevada McClouskey was in charge of scheduling, compliance and recruited for the Wolf Pack.

“I’m thrilled that Andy is coming to Boise State,” Graham said. “His knowledge of the WAC will be a great asset to our staff. His time spent coaching in the Pac-10 and the WAC will help when it comes to recruiting.”

“I’m really excited about joining the Bronco basketball program,” McClouskey said. “I’m looking forward to helping the program get back to the heights it once enjoyed.”

Before coaching at Nevada, McClouskey spent three seasons at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. At Stetson, he was the recruiting coordinator, handled scheduling and assisted with opponent scouting. In his first year for the Hatters, McClouskey signed two all-state prep players and a junior college All-American.

McClouskey also coached at Oregon State for six seasons, where he helped coach NBA players Gary Payton, Brent Barry, Scott Haskin, and A.C. Green. He coached and played under the late Ralph Miller, who is a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Before coaching at Oregon State, McClouskey spent three seasons as the head basketball coach at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon. He played basketball as a walk-on at Oregon State, lettering two years.
