As a poorly groomed, tree-hugging hippie I feel the need to defend myself. First off, Pink Floyd (Roger Waters) wrote The Wall about the trappings of superstardom and the isolation that comes along with it. This was a response to his corporate record label’s control over his personal and professional life. Just listen to the song “Comfortably Numb,” where he sings about his manager giving him some uppers
